HAYLO People are specialists in General Insurance recruitment. We are partnering with a well-established brokerage in Brisbane CBD to appoint an experienced Insurance Broker to take over a substantial existing corporate and commercial portfolio, following a planned retirement.
This is a true account management role with strong internal support, ideal for a broker who enjoys looking after clients, running renewals end to end, and building a long-term book without heavy new business pressure.
- Competitive salary $90k to $170k + super (based on portfolio size and experience)

- Full-time hours: Mon to Fri, 9:00am to 5:00pm, with additional flexibility where required
- Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate and commercial clients (heavy construction focus)
- Deliver end-to-end account management including renewals, market placement, and client presentations
- Partner with underwriters and internal teams to structure tailored insurance solutions
- Maintain trusted relationships with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders
- Identify organic growth opportunities within the existing book
- Minimum in an Account Executive or similar role in insurance broking
- Experience across corporate and commercial risks (construction experience preferred)
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and client presentation skills
- Organised, proactive, and committed to high-quality client service
- Collaborative working style and a positive approach to team culture
